Slots!

No, we are not talking about Atlantic City, but you will probably have just as much fun adding, deleting and moving slots around on the page.

There are rich text, image, slideshow, video, button, RSS Feed, PDF, Raw HTML, and many other slots already built. If you want to add a photo slideshow to a page, add the slot, select the photos and you are done.

You can create your own

If there is something you want to add to your website that doesn't quite fit any existing slot types, you can build your own. Not up for that? Let us build it for you. We have built many custom slots for clients that let them do things like bring in lists of people from existing databases and display them on a page of their choosing.

The slot architecture is intentionally flexible and extensible. Be like all the cool kids and start making your own.

Event and Blog Slots Add Flexibility

Inserting event slots and blog post slots allows you to seamlessly add timely content to any page.  Blog and event slots can be styled to suit a particular page template just like other content. Notice the event slot below, and the blog slot to the right. Blog and event slots can insert a single, specific news item, or automatically update to display the latest items.

Out of the 10 largest cities in the USA, Philadelphia has the largest proportion of people age 60+, most of whom want to remain in their homes and communities for as long as possible. In order for this to happen, the physical and social environment must support seniors who want to live independently and it must complement the existing programs and services offered by the agencies that serve them. Background on GENPHILLY This Junto is being curated by Generation Appreciation Philadelphia (GenPhilly). GenPhilly is committed to promoting an age-friendly city by inspiring emerging leaders to make connections with older adults in their professional and personal lives. Its members come from a variety of backgrounds such as the arts, social work, technology, public policy, law, community development and more. The group has regular events aimed to…
